In the Municipality of South Mitrovica, the discussion meetings on addressing findings and recommendations from the Social Audit process have commenced. Mayor Bedri Hamza welcomed the recommendations in an open discussion. Additionally, he shared valuable information on matters of interest for the Social Audit group throughout the project cycle.

The meeting emphasized that this process aims to mutually contribute to two dimensions: firstly, to enhance information, knowledge, and citizen involvement in all stages of municipal investment development (planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation); and secondly, to increase the interest of local authorities in fostering ownership and the direct contribution of citizens to municipal investments.
