The Kosovo Local Government Institute (KLGI) has organized a three-day training (October 19-21) within the first module of the “Local Governance Academy – LGA”.
The training was held in the Republic of Albania, which discussed and addressed the following topics: Models and Principles, Good Governance; Local Governance according to the European Charter, as well as the functioning of local governance in Kosovo. The lecturer of this training was Mr. Shkëlqim Jakupi, an expert in the field of local governance. Through working groups, the participants had the opportunity to share experiences and practices among municipalities on different topics.
The Local Governance Academy (LGA) is an advanced training program targeting officials of local government, line ministries and civil society actors. LGA is focused on the elaboration of the modern concept of local governance through training modules which are offered in the form of lectures, discussions, group work, information exchange and study visits.
The activity was carried out in the framework of the program “Dialogue for European Municipalities (DEM)”, supported by the Royal Norwegian Embassy in Kosovo.
