The Executive Director of the KLGI Institute, Valmir Gashi, was hosted by the Minister of Local Government Administration (MLGA), Elbert Krasniqi, with whom they discussed the challenges and problems at the local level and drafting of new policies in the field of local government.

The meeting assessed that professionalism, accountability and transparency are the ultimate preconditions for increasing the standards of services to citizens, while overcoming challenges and problems in local governance. They agreed to continue cooperation in the function of local governance, especially in the area of drafting new policies.
