Suharekë
Area and Population
The municipality of Suhareka is located in southeastern Kosovo. It covers an area of approximately 361 km² and includes Suhareka town and 41 villages.
According to the Kosovo Population and Housing Census 2020, the total population is 58.194.
Governing Structures and Political Overview
The total number of voters in Suhareka municipality registered for the last municipal elections held in October 2021 was 66,763 including out of Kosovo voters.
The voter turnout was 42.8 percent/28,570 voters (source: Central Election Commission).
