Malishevë

Area and Population

The municipality of Malisheva is located in south eastern Kosovo. It covers an area of approximately 306 km² and includes Malisheva town and 44 villages.

According to the Kosovo Population and Housing Census 2020, the total population is 57,261.

Governing Structures and Political Overview

The total number of voters in Malisheva municipality registered for the last municipal elections held in November 2021 was 54,018 including out of Kosovo voters.

The voter turnout was 42,0 percent/22, 683 voters (source: Central Election Commission).
