Kosovo Local Government Institute (KLGI) published the Public Consultation Monitoring Report in Municipalities for the year 2023
The monitoring report provides information on the processes of public consultations in the municipalities of Kosovo, based on the level of compliance with the Administrative Instruction for Minimum Standards of Public Consultation in Municipalities. At the same time, it offers recommendations for future processes. During the presentation of the report, there was also a discussion on strengthening cooperation between local governments and civil society, applying a transparent approach to public consultation processes.
The monitoring of public consultations at the local level aims to increase proactive citizen participation in municipal consultative processes, while also helping municipalities identify gaps in their public consultation processes.

This activity was carried out within the framework of the Citizen Engagement Activity (CEA), a five-year initiative implemented by the Kosovar Civil Society Foundation (KCSF) in partnership with the United States Agency for International Development (USAID Kosovo).
