KLGI Institute, through modular training, focused on the advancement of the agenda of joint engagement of local actors
The training was divided into three sessions: capacity building/practices and adaptation of models for co-creation of local policies; integrity plans in municipalities; group work in building common frameworks and agendas between municipalities and civil society as well as presentations and discussions.
The advancement of methodologies, practices and the sharing of experiences among members, in particular in the identification, articulation/analysis and addressing of local policies, has put the consolidation of integrated systems in focus. Thus, it has drawn attention to the need for building agendas and calendars for the engagement and contribution of local actors (municipalities, local communities and civil society).
The Local Governance Academy (LGA) is an advanced training program targeting local government officials, line ministries and civil society actors. LGA is focused on elaborating the modern concept of local governance through training modules which are offered in the form of lectures, discussions, group work, information exchange and study visits.
This activity was carried out in the framework of the program “Dialogue for European Municipalities (DEM)”, supported by the Norwegian Embassy in Prishtina.
