The Kosovo Local Government Institute (KLGI) in cooperation with the Ministry of Local Government Administration (MAPL) organized the workshop, “Presentation of the Draft Economic Model-Profile of Municipalities”, which aimed to discuss and receive comments from the municipalities on the drafting of this document. Participants were representatives from the Ministry of Local Government Administration and Municipal Directors for Economic Development.

The purpose of this document is to provide municipalities with a unified design of their economic profiles. This document will provide data for the municipalities, which will serve as information for potential local and international investors and will influence the attraction of investors and the strengthening of local economic development.

The workshop was carried out within the framework of the KLGI’s support to MLGA and municipalities in the drafting of municipal policies. The KLGI Institute is dedicated to analyzes and studies that contribute to the effective practices of local governance in Kosovo. Also, through educational programs, it works to increase the capacities of the country’s municipalities.

The activity was implemented in the framework of the “Dialogue for European Municipalities (DEM)” program, supported by the Embassy of the Kingdom of Norway in Kosovo.
