The Kosovo Local Government Institute (KLGI) held a training session with local Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) and activists for the process of monitoring minimum standards for public consultation at the local level.
The training aimed to enhance the capacities of local Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) and local activists to monitor the implementation of minimum standards for public consultation at the municipal level. This process will involve 16 NGOs and local activists, who will be engaged in 8 regions across a total of 38 municipalities.
During the training, basic concepts of inclusiveness and the legal aspect in Kosovo were explained. The monitoring process was also encouraged by using the methodology developed by KLGI during this year.
This training was conducted within the framework of the Civic Engagement Program, implemented by the Kosovo Civil Society Foundation (KCSF) in partnership with the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) in Kosovo. KLGI is a partner of KCSF in the implementation of this activity.
