KLGI deals with the challenges that citizens face through thematic groups

The KLGI Institute continues to address the challenges faced by citizens 👥️ through thematic groups.

As part of the “Civil Society as a Promoter of Public Contribution” project, supported by SMART Balkans 🌍, the thematic group in the Municipality of Ferizaj held a meeting to identify key issues faced by women 👩🦳, people with disabilities ♿, and minorities. Specific demands were also drafted to be presented to local authorities 🏢, aiming for their inclusion in local policies.

During the monitoring process 🔍, the results achieved will be assessed and promoted as models of engagement. From the practices established in the targeted municipalities, there is greater preparedness for co-creating policies between municipalities and representative groups.

The KLGI Institute will continue to monitor and evaluate progress 🔍, aiming for the results achieved ✅ to serve as models for effective engagement 🔝. This approach is helping the targeted municipalities to be better prepared in co-creating sustainable policies in partnership with representative groups 🏙.

This meeting was organized with the support of the regional project “SMART Balkans – Civil Society for Shared Values in the Western Balkans,” led by the Center for Promotion of Civil Society (CPCD) in partnership with the Institute for Democracy and Mediation (IDM) and the Center for Research and Policy Making (CRPM), and funded by the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (NMFA).
