The Kosovo Local Government Institute (KLGI) conducted the third module of the training program “Local Governance Academy – LGA” for the tenth generation, focusing on the topic “Project Cycle.”
During the lecture, expert Artan Canhasi emphasized that a project consists of a series of activities aimed at achieving a specific result and should be completed within a defined timeframe according to its specifications and budget.
This module aimed to strengthen the capacities of municipal officials in effectively and efficiently planning, organizing, coordinating, and controlling a project throughout all its phases, until its completion and evaluation, to achieve the predetermined objectives.
The participants, divided into groups, practiced and simulated the process of a project cycle from planning to implementation, in order to achieve the defined objective as the anticipated result or product.
The Local Governance Academy (LGA) is an advanced training program that targets local government officials, line ministries, and civil society actors. The LGA program focuses on elaborating the modern concept of local governance through training modules delivered in the form of lectures, discussions, group work, exchange of experiences, and learning best practices through study visits.
This activity was carried out in the framework of the program ‘Dialogue for European Municipalities’ (DEM), supported by the Norwegian Embassy in Prishtina.
