Kamenicë
Area and Population
The municipality of Kamenica is located in the eastern part of Kosovo. It covers an area of approximately 423 km² and includes Kamenica town and 58 villages.
According to the Kosovo Population and Housing Census 2011, the total population is 27.948.
Governing Structures and Political Overview
The total number of voters in Kamenica municipality registered for the last municipal elections held in October 2021 was 35,161 including out of Kosovo voters.
The voter turnout was 48,7 percent/17,111 voters (source: Central Election Commission).
