Gjakovë
Area and Population
The municipality of Gjakova is located in southwestern Kosovo. It covers an area of approximately 586 km² and includes Gjakova town and 88 villages.
According to the Kosovo Population and Housing Census 2020, the total population is 94.334.

The total number of voters in Gjakova municipality registered for the last municipal elections held in October 2021 was 113,165 including out of Kosovo voters.
The voter turnout was 37, 2 percent/42,146 voters (source: Central Election Commission).
