On the 10th anniversary of the “Local Governance Academy – LGA” program, we launched the ninth generation of this program.

The Local Governance Academy (LGA) is an advanced training program targeting local government officials, line ministries and civil society actors. The LGA program is focused on elaborating the modern concept of local governance through training modules, exchange of experiences and acquisition of good practices through study visits.

The LGA program offers five (5) training modules: Democratization and Good Governance; Cycle of Public Policies at the Local Level; Municipal Strategic and Development Policies; Development of Programs and Partnership with Donors; Practices and Regional Model of Local Government.

The KLGI Institute is dedicated to analyzes and studies that contribute to the effective practices of local governance in Kosovo. Also, through educational programs, it works to increase the capacities of the country’s municipalities.
