The Kosovo Local Government Institute (KLGI), in cooperation with the Decentralization and Municipal Support (DEMOS) Project, organized a conference on the topic “Strategic Planning, Project Development, and Contract Management.”

During the conference, a comprehensive and in-depth report was presented, offering a detailed analysis of the processes related to strategic planning , project development , and contract management within the municipalities of Kosovo. The report also emphasized inter-institutional cooperation and engagement with key stakeholders in these critical areas.

The event served as a dynamic platform for dialogue and exchange of ideas , enabling representatives from various institutions and organizations to share their perspectives on enhancing administrative capacities and advancing citizen-oriented local governance .

The discussion panel featured representatives from the Ministry of Local Government Administration and several municipalities, who shared insights from both central and local government levels regarding the challenges and opportunities for improvement in these core functions .

The conference brought together stakeholders from central government, municipalities, regional service companies, and civil society organizations , fostering a collaborative environment for policy advancement and practical solutions in local governance.
