Twenty municipal officials and local civil society representatives have commenced their advanced training in the “Local Government Academy – LGA.”
The Kosovo Local Governance Institute (KLGI) has launched the eleventh generation of the “Local Government Academy – LGA.” This initial meeting aimed to introduce participants to the program’s advanced curriculum.
The program has united twenty municipal officials and civil society representatives with a vast network of municipal actors, comprising over five hundred participants from ten previous generations of the “Local Government Academy.”
Designed for local government officials, line ministry representatives, and civil society actors, the Local Government Academy focuses on promoting a modern approach to local governance. It includes training modules, experience sharing, and best practices through study visits.
The LGA program features five training modules:
Democratization and Good Governance
The Public Policy Cycle at the Local Level
Strategic and Developmental Municipal Policies
Program Development and Partnerships with Donors
Practices and the Regional Model of Local Governance / Study Visit
