The greater involvement of citizens in local government, the increase of transparency and accountability, these commitments of the “Open Government Partnership” (OGP) platform, in which the municipality of Gjakova and that of Prishtina have already been included, were the main topics of discussion at the fifth Coordination Meeting of the Citizen Engagement Activity. To contribute to the discussion, the data of the Monitoring Report of Public Consultations for the year 2023, carried out in cooperation with the Kosovo Local Government Institute (KLGI), within this program, were first presented.

With the aim of encouraging common engagement in this matter, this meeting brought together representatives of civil society, representatives of USAID funded projects, and other donors in Kosovo that support civil society.
