Ferizaj

Area and Population

The municipality of Ferizaj is located in south-eastern Kosovo. It covers an area of approximately 345 km² and includes the city of Ferizaj and 45 villages.

According to the Kosovo Population and Housing Census 2020, the total population is 106,286.

Governing Structures and Political Overview

The total number of voters in the municipality of Ferizaj municipality registered for the last municipal elections held in October 2021 was 111,990 including out-of-Kosovo voters.

The voter participation in election was 44.8 percent/ 50,173 voters (source: Central Election Commission).
