Deçan

Area and Population

The municipality of Deçan is located in southwestern Kosovo. It covers an area of approximately 297 km² and includes Deçan town and 37 villages.

According to the Kosovo Population and Housing Census 2020, the total population is 42.480.

Governing Structures and Political Overview

The total number of voters in Deçan municipality registered for the last municipal elections held in October 2021 was 39,875 including out of Kosovo voters.

The voter turnout was 38.9 percent/15,502 voters (source: Central Election Commission).
